We have lined up a number of tours for attendees to choose from through Pelican New Orleans, a local tour company that comes highly recommended.  The tours will be happening on Thursday, January 23.  Attendees will be able to sign up for tours during the registration process. 


If you are interested in participating in "ODD gives back" that will be happening on Thursday as well.  Check here for more information.

Culinary and Cultural Tour

Explore three of the most renowned restaurants of the French Quarter, while sampling their famous dishes. Learn about the Creole and Cajun cultures and the influence they have had on New Orleans food. Sample items like Muffalettas, Chargrilled Oysters, Gumbo, Jambalaya or Shrimp Remoulade, to name a few. 


(*Please note, if you are participating in the ODD Gives Back SPCA tour and service project, you can't sign up for this tour because it will not get back in time.  You will need to choose one or the other.)

French Quarter & Cemetery Walking Tour

Guests will see 300+ years of history right before their eyes during this guided walking through the French Quarter. This tour includes a stop at the city’s oldest cemetery – St. Louis #1, the final resting place of legendary Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau.

Swamp Tour

Our tours take place in of one of the last protected wetlands in the state - the Honey Island Swamp. Being a Wildlife Conservancy, airboats and bigger boats are not allowed there. Our excursions are provided in custom made, 22 passenger, flat bottomed boats. Tours are about 2 hours long. Coming from New Orleans, it takes about 45 minutes to reach the swamp in Slidell, LA. There will be provided private transportation with deluxe mini coaches to get your group to and from the swamp from the hotel.
